Begonia & Bench® fuses the art of candle making with a mission to help the environment and our communities. Sustainably crafted, a tree is planted in a US National Forest for every candle we make, and we give back to community & conservation non-profits.

Every Artisan candle is a labor of love, perfumed with patiently macerated aroma oils, poured in multiple stages, cured & aged. Only our best candles from the batch are then prepared with careful polishing, leaving no blemish to tarnish the candle experience. Once perfected, it’s carefully hand-wrapped in kraft paper, then boxed with tasteful packaging - creating a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind presentation.

From Farm to Flame

Our Artisan candles use our custom blend of 4 plant-based botanical waxes. We use 2 types of soy wax, a coconut wax, and rice bran wax that we import from Japan. We also cure & age our candles until the aroma is at it's finest.

Rice bran wax is unique in that it is organic, plant based, and a dripless, smokeless wax. In our wax blend, this allows our candles to burn slower and more cleanly than all-soy.

Our blend also allows more character of the aroma to be captured, and as the candle ages - the character will continue to develop and refine, similar to how cheese or wine ages.

Our unique Artisan blend promotes a slow, clean burn that enhances candle longevity, while fragrances evolve over time- like a fine wine or aged cheese.

Crafted from renewable, sustainable sources, these candles are the ultimate choice for considerate candle enthusiasts seeking luxury with intention.

Unlike the Artisan candles, our 9oz Amber Jar candles are all-soy wax candles and are intended to offer a version of our aromas at a more accessible price.
