With over 1 trillion plastic bags produced each year, (every single one of those bags will take an estimated 1,000 years to degrade) we are trying to be an example with our kiddos in using reusable shopping bags. It's hard to remember them but I found some great tricks to help!
- 📱 When planning shopping, set a reminder on your phone to not forget your bags as you walk out the door!
- 👛I'm a big fan of cloth bags because I can fold them up small and keep them in my purse or trunk. As soon as you are done unloading, either place them right back in your purse or car.
-🛍️ Put "BAGS" as the first item on your shopping list. This helps to remember to grab them!
It takes 21 days to form the habit so don't be too hard on yourself if you forget, just keep trying and soon it will become second nature! 🤗
